[Youth to Sustainability Summit 2024 💡] We are delighted to announce the successful organization of NGO visits for our delegates of the #YouthtoSustainabilitySummit2024! We had the privilege to collaborate with Mind HK 香港心聆 , AIDS Concern, MakerBay Foundation, CarbonCare InnoLab (CCIL), Missing Link, and Tetra Neon Exchange (TNX) for the session on 22nd June, 2024. Our delegates had the wonderful opportunity to explore how ideas could be turned into real projects to achieve sustainability in society through meaningful conversations with entrepreneurs and NGO founders. Moreover, they were able to exchange ideas with our partners, facilitating the development of their own projects for public showcasing. Making an impact is never an easy task. [Youth to Sustainability Summit 2024 💡] Here are some snapshots of the highlights from the #HumanLibrary Session of the #YouthtoSustainabilitySummit2024! On June 21st, 2024, we successfully held the session, with the honor of hosting guests making a difference in the following areas: #SDG3: Good Health and Wellbeing, #SDG9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and #SDG11: Sustainable Cities. It was our utmost privilege to have Dixon Cheng, Gianne Chan, Erica/Erics T., Alvin Cheung, Meike Sauerwein, PhD, Alex Tam, Kenny Lam, Clement Li, inthecloud, proxlogue, @Jacky Chan, and Hiu Kwan share their meaningful stories and spark insights within our delegates. Through these insightful dialogues, our delegates are able to develop deeper into our guests' unique experiences and perspectives, empowering our delegates to broaden their understanding of sustainability challenges and the innovative solutions being driven by passionate changemakers. [Youth to Sustainability Summit 2024 💡] YS24 has finally started! This year, we kick off with #YouthSpeakForum at Hong Kong Baptist University, in partnership with the Centre for Sustainable Development Studies. We had the pleasure to have of hosting standup comedian Vivek Mahbubani, Kelly Kwok from V'air Sustainability Education, and former AIESEC International President Chester Shum. They shared their thoughts on #SustainableDevelopment in Hong Kong and their valuable experiences in youth #leadership and making an #impact. For instance, it was found that most of us reckoned #SDG Goal 11: #SustainableCities and Communities should be prioritised for Hong Kong’s development. Q&A session was also held after the forum and our delegates raised questions to deepen their understanding. A big thank you to Chin Victoria Ip for being the moderator for the forum, it was an engaging session for 70+ youth in the house! Huge appreciation to our distinguished speakers for taking the time to share their expertise with our youth delegates. In the coming days, delegates will gain more insights from different perspectives, reflecting on sustainability and developing their own solutions. Our Directors attended the Global Talent Summit organized by Hong Kong Talent Engage, which took place on 7 and 8 May 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The summit has highlighted Hong Kong as the international talent hub of the world, and talent development in the Greater Bay Area. It's valuable to get in touch with 60+ companies and learn about the industry growth of each sector.
