The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) published its Exposure Draft 𝘌𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘔𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨—𝘐𝘈𝘚 28 𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘑𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵 𝘝𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 (𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥 202𝘹) in September 2024. The proposals to revise IAS 28 might significantly affect entities that apply the equity method. Entities with loss-making associates or joint ventures and entities with transactions with associates or joint ventures might be particularly affected due to the clarifications and measurement changes proposed.
