Ive been working on this for about a year now (havent marketed yet, but literally about to start launching this week) and I got the featured and verified developer many months ago - probably last year.

Been shipping package updates regulalry and havent had any rejection or violations in a LONG time.

But then just now i had a package get approved, and now i lost the Featured + verified badges and it is showing an alert for Unsafe browsing practices.

Out of nowhere.

Its REALLY bad timing for this to happen and I geuninely have zero idea what triggered it. I have not done anything significant nor received any notice/rejection indicating any violations.

It was a super minor package update as well, and i had multiple get approved all thorugh the last few weeks without any problems.

Hoping someone on DevRel team here could help me get to the bottom of it.

Below is the ID.

Hi Sean,

Thanks for sharing this. I took a quick look on our end, but I couldn't immediately see what happened (other than that a change had taken place).

I've asked the team to see if they can take a look at this and I'll let you know as soon as I hear back.

Thanks,

Oliver -

Amazing! Thank you for the speedy response and for bumping it on over to the team. Hopefully we can get it rectified or figure out what needs to be done.

Hello! Sorry to jump in on this thread, but the same thing happened to us, got the Featured badge removed after almost a year of having it.

Can you take a look into our case as well? To better understand what we would need to fix.

Thank you in advance!

Hi Oliver, thanks for getting back to us!

You are right, I haven't updated the description yet, but we are out of Beta. Will change it now! I hadn't realized the text was still there 😅

Where should I re-apply? In the email they sent me they said I would not be able to do so.

Thanks again for your help!

Apologies for the late response. I took a look at this and the extension appears to require a paid account. I'm not sure why this wasn't an issue previously (was that a change you made to the extension?) but since we aren't able to test the functionality, we aren't able to determine eligibility for the featured badge. This is a limitation we're aware of and in the future we're hoping to provide a way to submit test account credentials. I'm sorry for any disappointment that might cause in the meantime.

I'm not sure what caused the safe browsing warning but it looks like that is gone now. Let me know if you're still seeing any issues.

Based on the description of your item, it looks like it is currently in beta. Would you be able to try submitting again once your extension is fully launched?
