NCSR "DEMOKRITOS"

Είμαι ενθουσιασμένος που, ως μέλος της Συμβουλευτικής Επιτροπής υψηλού επιπέδου για την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη υπό τον Πρωθυπουργό, συμμετείχα στην κατάρτιση του «Σχέδιου Δράσης για τη μετάβαση της Ελλάδας στην εποχή της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης». Πρόκειται για ένα συγκεκριμένο και συνεκτικό σχέδιο που χαρτογραφεί έναν εφαρμόσιμο οδικό χάρτη για την ηγεσία της Ελλάδας στον τομέα της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης και της διακυβέρνησης δεδομένων. Στο έργο της Επιτροπής, μας ήταν σημαντική η συμβολή ομάδας ερευνητών του ΕΚΕΦΕ «Δημόκριτος», τόσο στις προτάσεις για τα εμβληματικά έργα (συλλογή και διακυβέρνηση των δεδομένων, ανάπτυξη οικοσυστημάτων Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης γύρω από δεδομένα, ανάπτυξη του χώρου δεδομένων για την ελληνική γλώσσα και τον πολιτισμό), όσο και στις προτάσεις για την υιοθέτηση της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης σε διάφορους τομείς του κράτους (άμυνα, πολιτική προστασία, πολιτισμός, έξυπνες πόλεις). Θα ήθελα να ευχαριστήσω τα μέλη της ομάδας μας Stelios Karozis, Denia Kanellopoulou, Georgios Petasis, Alexandros Nousias, Dimitris Kyriazanos και George Xilouris, για τη δημιουργικότητα, τις ιδέες, την αφοσίωσή τους στην κοινή προσπάθειά μας για τη μετάβαση της Ελλάδας στην εποχή της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης. 🙏 Ιδιαίτερη μνεία αξίζει ο εξαιρετικός γραφιστικός σχεδιασμός του σχεδίου, που αποδίδει περίπλοκες ιδέες με οπτικά ελκυστικό και κατανοητό τρόπο. https://lnkd.in/dYCCSftX #ΤεχνητήΝοημοσύνη #TN ----------------------------------- I am excited that, as a member of the High-Level Advisory Committee on Artificial Intelligence to the Prime Minister, I participated in drafting the "Blueprint for Greece's AI Transformation". This is a concrete and cohesive landmark document that outlines a practical roadmap for Greece's leadership in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and data governance. The contribution of the team of researchers from NCSR "DEMOKRITOS" was crucial to the Committee's work. Their input was instrumental both in proposals for flagship initiatives (data collection and governance, the development of Artificial Intelligence ecosystems around data, and the creation of a data space for the Greek language and culture) and in proposals for the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across various state sectors (defence, civil protection, culture, smart cities). I recently had the unique opportunity to join the Greek Delegation of fellow scientists from Athena Research Center and Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) on a productive visit to China, with the aim to foster collaboration between our institutions and leading Chinese research centres. For NCSR "DEMOKRITOS" these discussions highlighted cultural and technological synergies, particularly around the application of digital technologies in cultural heritage such as AiTHERION - the project developed with the Ministry of Culture that integrates digital tools to create immersive experiences in ancient Greek philosophy. These deliberations have led to reciprocal visits with Chinese institutions, as well as a memorandum of cooperation with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, focused on #AI, #culture, and #philosophy.
