"I didn’t choose this career—it chose me. At 29, after spending eight fulfilling years as a scholar, I found myself longing for more creativity and variety. The routine had become too predictable, and the demands of a 24-hour job left me wanting something different. That’s when a colleague, working on her master’s in new technologies, invited me to help create an open-source database of ancient Greek and Latin texts. That was my first real encounter with programming, and it was love at first sight. I was captivated by the process of learning new things, solving problems, and seeing results in real time. It made me realize that I wasn’t truly happy with what I was doing before. So, I dove headfirst into computer science, balancing formal studies with online courses on platforms like Udemy. After a year of self-learning, I landed my first job as a software developer. The uncertainty and anxiety I once felt about my career disappeared. Now, every time I turn on my computer, I’m excited for the day ahead, full of creativity and new problems to solve—exactly what I love. The best part? This journey will never end. There will always be new things to learn, new ways to grow, and endless opportunities to evolve alongside technology." Panagiotis Lamprou channeled his passion into creating an innovative React training program.
