In January of 2024 we announced Endpoint Education Upgrade. Endpoint Education Upgrade provides advanced account and device management controls to help keep your school’s data more secure. This add-on bundles advanced admin and security controls included in Google Workspace for Education Standard and Plus.

This offering will be available as a standalone solution with flexible licensing options:
  • User-Based
  • Device-Based
In H1'24, we plan to launch the first iteration of Endpoint Education Upgrade for user-based licensing. Our goal is to enter the market with solutions our customers need as soon as possible. In the meantime, we’ll continue to collect input on device-based licensing from customers while building the next solution: device-based licensing.
