WHAT ARE INLAYS?

Inlays are a type of partial crown. On your tooth’s biting surface, there are peaks and valleys. When the partial crown is placed in the valleys, it’s called an inlay.

WHAT ARE ONLAYS?

When your dentist places the partial crown on the peaks or cusps of your tooth, it’s called an onlay.
