Was the 1.5.3 release retagged?

I noticed that the hash of the Github-generated tarball for the 1.5.3 release has changed since I last checked in October. Was the 1.5.3 release retagged at some point?

@mistydemeo we were moving around some files and it looks like some history was inadvertently re-written causing the SHA1 of the binary to change.

The new SHA for 1.5.3 is 7f2fcf458badf42c5401587b7be19a4f5c5b439c.
