In Pictures 📸 — Commissioning of Mankessim Medical Waste Treatment Facility. The Centralized Medical Waste Treatment Facility will serve the purpose of collecting and treating hazardous components of healthcare waste which includes used syringes, blood-stained materials, pathological waste, other infectious and waste from vaccination exercises. The facility will serve all healthcare facilities within the region including Cape Coast, Anomabu, Winneba, Apam, and other environs. Our ultra-modern Steam Sterilizer with internal shredders has been installed onsite for medical waste treatment. In addition, the equipment employs a non-incineration technique hence there are no pollutants (such as furans and dioxins) released into the atmosphere thereby promoting environmental health and safety. #MankessimMedicalWaste #JospongHeroJourney #ZoomlionInterventions
