About us
The Sovereign Art Foundation Guernsey brings the Sovereign Art Foundation Students Prize which runs in several jurisdictions to Guernsey. We celebrate the young local talent (aged 11-18) By selecting and displaying their artworks publicly and inviting the public to vote for their favourite. We also run an Art Bursary to support art related studies off island. We raise money to support our Art Bursary and to support other art related charitable initiatives whose mission it is to improve quality of life both locally and internationally.

As we eagerly await for the last minute entries to come in for the guernsey edition of the Sovereign Art Foundation Students Prize, it’s great to find out what one of our earliest finalists Clarice Greening has gone on to do!
‘Life’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get’ The past 5 months, my creative style has blossomed like never before! I’ve dedicated myself to making art everyday; painting, drawing and illustrating what has been inspiring me whilst immersed in the culture of Japan, Thailand and Vietnam. I’ve been known as an artist who has created intricate black & white pencil drawings for over 10 years. And now, I’ve developed new colorful and playful styles as well - through consistency, practice and just absolutely loving what I do! I am beyond excited to carry on mixing these styles with my other interests; illustrating for picture books & designing for fashion, all whilst I continue my exhibitions, taking commissions and teaching workshops over the world.
