🌿 A Historic Partnership for Georgian Agriculture 🌿 We are excited to announce a groundbreaking collaboration in Georgian agriculture: a partnership between the cooperative Produce in Imereti, representing farmers from Kharagauli, Tskaltubo, and Senaki municipalities, and the cooperative Jogho. This collaboration brings together agricultural cooperatives and farmer communities from different municipalities, creating the first initiative of its kind in Georgia! 🌱 Setting New Standards in Cooperative Farming This partnership marks a significant step toward setting new standards in cooperative farming, growth, and sustainable agricultural practices across the region. Together, we are working to create a blueprint for cooperative success that we hope will inspire similar partnerships nationwide. 🤝 Acknowledging Key Contributors Our heartfelt thanks go to Jogho’s Founding Member Zaza Kharshilava and Director Nodar Kharshilava for hosting our working groups from Kharagauli and Tskaltubo as we move forward with our primary and secondary production initiatives, aligned with Improved Agricultural Management Standards (IALM). 🎯 Our Primary Objectives Include: 🌿 Vocational Training for Farmers We have launched training programs focused on the registration, authorization, and preparation of Prunus Cerasifera mother trees, ensuring high-quality cuttings and budding harvests for 2025 and 2026. 🌱 Nursery Plantation Development Plans are underway to establish nursery plantations in each of the three municipalities to support grafting and seedling growth for future cooperative plantations centered around selected, authorized mother trees. This nursery will be the foundation for sustainable agricultural growth. 🌾 Supporting Existing and Potential Members of Produce in Imereti Our goal is to produce high-quality seedlings for distribution to cooperative members across Georgia, increasing resource access and strengthening community ties. We are also exploring exciting additional opportunities, including: 🌱 Jogho Joining as an Investor or Associate Member, with potential plans to supply rootstock by 2025. 🌿 Service Agreements for Orchard Care, with shared harvests to boost productivity. 🌾 Inviting Large Existing Plantations to Join the Produce in Imereti Initiative, securing a consistent supply for the cooperative’s planned processing facility. This collaboration will benefit both cooperatives and member farmers. This community-supported partnership opens up exciting possibilities for future growth, and we are grateful to Jogho for their commitment to Produce in Imereti’s vision. Together, we are planting the seeds for a vibrant future in Georgian agriculture! #ProduceInImereti #Jogho #AgriculturalCooperation #SustainableGrowth #FutureOfFarming
