This is unpaid.
I am looking to perform traditional Christian music and seek an accompanist on piano, keyboard, or organ.
I am most familiar with four-part gospel hymns (ex.
How Great Thou Art, It Is Well, His Eye is on the Sparrow) but am open to other styles and time periods.
The primary goal is simply to provide a blessing to others.
I hope you are not nervous about performing and are open to working patiently and diligently on musical details, such as balance between the voices, dynamics, and tempos.
It is not necessary that you be an excellent keyboardist, but I hope you can play to a level that is not distracting to the audience, are open to suggestions, and are willing to acknowledge mistakes and work on them, and I will try the same.
I do not want perfect, but would at least like to provide pleasing, thoughtful, or moving experiences.
I am just an amateur in singing.
I have some formal music training in other instruments and wish to focus on voice as I believe it can be very expressive.
I am comfortable sight-reading all manner of four-part hymns and am in tenor range.
There is one church I attend that hosts traditional-style worship and I hope that the music can be provided on occasion for service.
I am open to performing in other venues or churches, or in recordings or online if the opportunity arises to provide a blessing.
I don't have any strict deadlines for performing, but wish we can get to some point where the music can be shared and received well by others.
I am not demanding on your time.
It is like a service project we work on slowly with bits of available hours we have.
I hope it can be regular.
