Today we are thrilled to announce that we have successfully raised €530m for our third-generation Growth platform, Ardian Growth III. With a team of 14 professionals headquartered in Paris and led by Alexis Saada alongside three Managing Directors, Romain Chiudini, Geoffroy de La Grandiere and Frédéric Quéru, our fund’s pan European investment strategy retains its focus on dynamic industries powered by innovative thinking such as digital (software, web and tech-enabled businesses), expert B2B services or health & wellness. In an otherwise challenging fundraising environment, we are proud to have exceeded our fundraising target, more than doubling the size in comparison with the previous vintage. The successful fundraising reflects strong interest from an increasingly diversified and international LP base, alongside a high re-up rate from existing investors. The fund received commitments from investors across 12 countries, including banks, insurance companies, entrepreneurs, pension funds and government agencies. Noticeably, over 120 of our LPs are entrepreneurs, highlighting the trust they place in our team to drive high-quality growth stories. The fund is already close to 25% invested, following three transactions in category leaders such as Théradial, a dialysis solutions provider; My Pie, an innovative snacking concept; and APRIUM PHARMACIE, a pharmacy banner company. Ardian’s #AixAi conference provided an exceptional deep dive into how #ArtificialIntelligence is reshaping our economies and creating new opportunities in Alternative Investment Hearing the insightful perspectives of our various speakers made very concrete the transformational change ahead.
