From a local dream to a global movement, the Like a Chef program is a shining example of how education can change lives. What started in Brazil has now become a flagship initiative of the Electrolux Food Foundation, embodying our mission to empower people through culinary skills and sustainable food education. This week, in Curitiba, we celebrated a remarkable milestone: the graduation of the 56th wave of students in Brazil alone! Across the globe, the program has trained more than 1,500 individuals, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and hope to create better opportunities for themselves and their communities. Such achievements don’t happen in isolation. My heartfelt thanks go to Stefani Alvarez, whose dedication as project coordinator is the beating heart of the program in Brazil. I’m also incredibly grateful to Lorenna Carvalho Oliveira, Valéria Balasteguim and Leandro Jasiocha for their unwavering support, reaffirming the commitment from Electrolux Group in Latin America in leading the way as a responsible employer.
