📢Register before March 13 to get the early low rates! 📣 On April 14 & 15, 2025, the UIA is pleased to invite you to a seminar in Kuwait City, Kuwait, about the "Mediation and Energy Transition: How mediation, which is now booming, can contribute to the evolution of the practices of States and companies at the time of the energy transition and reduce its related conflicts? " The Seminar presented by the UIA Mediation and Conflicts Prevention Commission in collaboration with the Kuwait Bar Association. ➡️In response to the climate challenge and its imperative to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the transition process (environmental, energy, etc.) at work is disrupting societies and economies. This is due to the power and irreversibility of the transformations it implies, particularly in hydrocarbon-exporting countries forced to rethink their economic and social model. The challenges to be met are immense to carry out the transition, within a tight timetable given the worsening of climate change and its dramatic consequences. Con profundo pesar recibimos la triste noticia del fallecimiento de nuestro amigo, Fernando de la Mata. Fernando era un muy querido y estimado miembro de la Unión Internacional de Abogados, así como un activo y comprometido oficial del Comité de Dirección de la asociación. Le echaremos mucho de menos y nos entristece mucho su pérdida. En nombre del Presidente, Carlo Mastellone, de los oficiales de la asociación y del personal de la UIA en París, expresamos nuestro más sentido pésame a su familia y a sus seres queridos.

📣 On March 14 & 15, 2025, the UIA is pleased to invite you to a seminar in Turin, Italy, about the "Legal Implications for Marketing and Advertising Agreements" The seminar will give a general view of the different legal aspects to be considered when analysing advertising and marketing strategies and the contractual obligations entered by the parties involved. ➡️The main theme will be the legal advice to give clients who are preparing a marketing campaign for food and wine products, where social and digital marketing offers significant opportunities to organizations through lower costs, improved brand awareness and increased sales. Moreover, threatened by possible government regulation and critical public opinion, food and wine industries often undertake also self-regulatory actions and issue statements of concern for public welfare to protect the public. All that considering how different legislations worldwide dealing with consumer protection could impact a digital marketing campaign, namely for alcoholic products.
