🏝️ Remote sites and non-interconnected islands face unique challenges in accessing reliable and sustainable energy. The #OPTILE project addresses these challenges by optimizing the integration of marine renewable energy systems to meet the specific needs of isolated networks. This R&D project aims to: 1️⃣ Develop methods to design and optimize marine renewable energy systems for microgrids. 2️⃣ Validate these methods with real-time co-simulations of electrical and communication networks. 3️⃣ Define new KPIs to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and environmental impact of renewable energy farms. At SolarinBlue, we are proud to contribute to this 36-month project led by France Énergies Marines: together with our partners, we are working towards delivering cost-effective and environmentally friendly energy solutions for applications such as island infrastructures, aquaculture, and offshore oil & gas platforms. 📣SolarinBlue honored by France 2030! Yesterday, we had the privilege of participating in the event organized by the Préfet de l'Hérault at the Planet Ocean Odysseum auditorium. During the ceremony, Antoine Retailleau presented our flagship project, #MégaSète funded by #France2030. The Sun'Sète offshore solar project, operational for over a year, is now visible on Google Earth! 🌞🌊 Situated 1.5 km off the coast of Sète, in front of the PORT DE SETE , this pioneering installation holds the world record for withstanding waves of up to 8.7 meters.
