Exciting news ‼️ We've launched an impactful new partnership with New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI) to revitalize the hospitality industry in the Crescent City. Highlights of our collaboration include: 🌟 Hosting professional development trainings at NOCHI for Sodexo Live! team members to bolster their skills. 🏆 Yesterday we celebrated the awards ceremony of #CookforChange: The Sustainable Chef Challenge! 🍽 🌿 This international sustainable cooking competition, created by Sodexo, brought together eight talented chefs from around the world for the grand finale which took place in Paris at Ecole Lenôtre’s kitchens. The chefs were tasked with creating an original menu combining delicious flavors and environmental responsibility. ♻️ To choose the winner, a prestigious jury was gathered, including two of our Sodexo Live! chefs: the multi-starred Frederic Anton (Le Pré Catelan ⭐⭐⭐, Le Jules Verne ⭐⭐, and the Don Juan II ⭐) as the head of the panel of judges, and Charles Guilloy, who stood out this summer as head of the Athletes’ Village restaurant for #Paris2024. Grand prize-winning chef Adam Collison (representing the UK and Ireland) impressed the jury with his "whole cauliflower" roasted, pureed, pickled and fried. Kudos also to chef Michał Fabiszewski from Poland who got the Food Waste Optimization Award for his “salmon from the field on a green meadow” as he cleverly wrapped a cooked carrot in a nori leaf to mimic the appearance of the fish.
