The Device Inventory error: 2147749902 Fix! #Microsoft is deploying a code change (new Inventory Agent) to address the error 2147749902 and resolve the Device Inventory Service Agent crashes. With this fix, hardware inventory retrieval from all devices will finally work as expected! 🎉 The full deployment is expected to be completed by Friday, December 20, 2024. #QuestionForGroup Consider the situation whereby device(s) are in remote locations, remote to the point there is no Local IT/repair shops, no stores to buy new. The device(s) are non-functional, they do not boot (assume the hard drive is OK, but the OS installation is faulty - and no MSR/faulty MSR), and the user is unable to work. The user is non-technical, and is unable to follow instructions. The user has no IT skills or hardware (USB stick etc) to assist in the situation.   The device needs to be brought back to working state, in the quickest possible time, with the least amount of trouble.   What options(s) do we have to assist?
