JAKOB + MACFARLANE architects is a multidisciplinary and multicultural architecture agency based in Paris, France. It's work explores digital technology both as a conceptual tool and as a means of production, using new materials to create a more flexible and responsive environment. Their main projects include the Restaurant Georges Pompidou Centre (2000), the reconstruction of the theater of Pont-Audemer in Normandy (2001), the library Florence Loewy Books by Artists in Paris (2001 ) New Communication Center for Renault in Métal 57 constructed by Vasconi in Boulogne-Billancourt (2004) Ricard Foundation (2007) and Docks - City of Fashion and Design, 100 housing Herold in Paris (2008), the Orange Cube and RBC showroom in Lyon in 2010, the FRAC Centre in Orléans (2013) and the Euronews Television Headquarters in Lyon (2014). Projects underway include the Conservatory of Dance and Music in Noisy-le-Sec, a cinema complex for Gaumont-Pathé in Paris, the Ecole Supérieure des Arts in Pau and a mixed-use masterplan in Knokke-Heist, Belgium.
