At ERS - Ecosystem Restoration Standard, Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and Local Communities (LCs) have always been at the heart of our work. Livelihood is one of the 3 key pillars of our Standard, and it's a critical aspect we assess when certifying ecosystem restoration projects on the carbon markets. We ensure that projects not only positively impact biodiversity and carbon sequestration but also generate social additionality by involving and empowering local communities. 🌱 ERS - Ecosystem Restoration Standard applies to ICVCM’s CCPs 🌱 We firmly believe that the The Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM)'s CCPs are a critical driver in rebuilding trust in the carbon markets. That’s why, in the last 8 months, ERS has meticulously aligned both its programme-level documents and methodology-level documentation to meet the ICVCM’s rigorous assessment criteria. We are proud to announce that ERS has applied for accreditation to ICVCM’s Core Carbon Principles (CCPs). The two-tick process begins with a thorough review of the programme’s eligibility to the CCPs.
