External website application projects should be for the sake of either optimising or expanding customer and client engagement. Developers should consider the internal stakeholders that work closely with the customers and clients, but more importantly, always take the general direction from the customers and clients themselves.

Regular meetings shall be conducted and minutes issued to ensure that all parties are on the same page. Furthermore, common objectives shall be established for all parties involved. Project management tools such as Trello or Jira will be employed to monitor progress and mitigate any issues that may arise.

Here's how you can achieve that: 1. Clear Project Documentation: Create detailed project docs, including goals, timelines, deliverables, and expectations. Use tools like Confluence 2. Regular Meetings and Updates: Weekly status meetings, sprint reviews. Keep these focused on progress, roadblocks & upcoming milestones. 3. Use Collaboration Tools: Use these tools Jira to track tasks, deadlines, responsibilities. 4. Establish Communication Channels: Use dedicated com channels (Slack) 5. Stakeholder Involvement in Testing: Provide opportunities to review and test features early, especially during the dev phase. 6. Set Clear Priorities: For projects with conflicting timelines communicate the priorities clearly 7. Maintain a Risk Log

Create and maintain a visual document to share team demand across all applications for the next 6-12 months. This includes planned development work and key business support dates that will impact resource allocation. Share on a team workspace (I.e confluence) where everyone can access the latest update. Schedule monthly meetings to communicate any changes in team capacity, discuss risks to the current plan, assess shifts in upcoming demand, and align project priorities across all stakeholders. Adjust resource allocation and project priority as needed. Follow up on action items. For each application, collaborate/share requirements and development status using tools such as confluence and jira for high visibility.

In the rush to meet deadlines, critical information can slip through the cracks. This often leads to confusion, unmet expectations, and a sense of disconnection among team members. Effective communication is more than just sharing updates; it’s about building relationships and trust. When stakeholders feel engaged and valued, they’re more likely to stay aligned with the project's goals. ➝ Implement regular check-ins that encourage open dialogue. ➝Use visual tools like dashboards to track progress and share updates. This not only keeps everyone informed but also invites collaboration and feedback, ensuring that all voices are heard. ________________________✍ ♻️ Reshare if this was helpful.

To achieve that, I find it essential to use task management tools, like Kanban boards. We should also conduct regular meetings, where we present achievements and set new goals.

TLDR; Talk a lot, go fast, take notes We usually have a kickoff meeting and then weekly syncs. We go documentation lite in order to go fast and break things and get something up for stakeholders to play with. This always uncovers risks missed during planning. We have lots of meetings with subsets of the stakeholders and document any calls made or info uncovered in a Slack thread specific for that project.
-
Centralize Communication 📨: Use a platform like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Asana to share updates, gather feedback, and ensure everyone has access to the same information in real time. Hold Regular Status Meetings 📅: Schedule brief, focused check-ins where stakeholders can stay informed about progress, raise concerns, and address any blockers. These meetings help maintain transparency. Document Everything Clearly 📝: Create easily accessible documentation outlining timelines, roles, and key milestones. This gives everyone a clear view of what’s happening and when.
