The album Beings of Light, released at the start of 2022, is Fort Romeau’s love letter to dance music, and the sentiment continues with its first remix from pioneering producer Ron Trent. Considered an architect of the Chicago scene since the '90s and founder of the seminal Prescription Records, Trent dials "The Truth" up a few notches, distilling the original's dreamy haze in his inimitable signature style. Nearing 10 minutes, "The Truth" in Trent's hands features a soaring synth solo at its apex, guided back down by an elegant piano outro.

Michael Greene adds, "Ron Trent is responsible for some of the best house music ever made. His collaborations with Chez Damier on tracks like 'Morning Factory' and releases on Prescription are cornerstones in the development of dance music, so it's an honour to hear his interpretation."
