A powerful 7.3 magnitude #earthquake struck #Vanuatu on Monday, causing widespread damage and claiming lives. As essential services slowly resume in the capital, Port Vila, the road to recovery will be long and challenging. UNDP, together with the #PacificHumanitarianTeam, is working with the people and the Government of Vanuatu to support early recovery efforts, for the affected communities to rebuild essential services and household assets.
