From recent Slush 2024, combined with Finnish course of "Radical Creativity" in following link, what could be their effects learned together amazingly to change me? Diving into Radical Creativity - Course overview https://lnkd.in/dN6RGpDw Especially, why should I be changed in the training of OYSTER Pre-Incubator for the pitch repreparation? In comparison with Slush 2024, hearing a lot of startup insights and actual successful cases, I have suddenly found myself about 4 following good or bad lessons obtained already in the earlier life: 1. The journey of APPLAB training continued to Scandicode Oy at Oulu - as a half succeeded / failed case (productization done and commercialization disrupted): APPLAB training was from TE Office for job seekers and university students joined together naturally / creatively as seeking and creating ICT jobs via a win-win teamwork! We were working as SIMO group with a project truly as Radical Creativity to me at least - leading to be medical device later at Scandicode Oy as its continuation. I must say that I had no wish or plan for entering the sectors of medical device if without the students and other youngers much more bravely than me, because it was just impossible in my professional view (where to get the huge cost of medical device?). The breakthroughs of seeking and creating ICT jobs actually on labour market did surprise me about the competitive advantages at Oulu, and also teach me what already applicable in pitch repreparation at OYSTER - noticed just freshly in Slush 2024: 1) It should be a much happier and healthier way to support others' successes due to my age of 55+ (applicable not only in the past but also in the future) It means my belief of one-founder startup in the era of GenAI is changed now ... 2) The concept innovation of Radical Creativity has the positive benefit-potentials, but also radical risks or disasters possible to occur - all beyond human imagination! For instance, those retroactive changes in my case were very hard to know in the benefit / risk profile of startup adventure ... I have to forgive myself if the time-machine effect just can not be foreseen or avoided at normal-human level. Radical Pain potentially in Radical Creativity - but how to do better and smarter? For the pitch repreparation in OYSTER tomorrow, I have found additional good or bad lessons also applicable from my even earlier past - the 1st profession job of 10 years in R&D as an intrapreneurship way (0=>1=>n): 1) It was always better and also as a must if sharply aimed / focused on the paid customers. It means my previous thought in OYSTER changed to profitable business growth just as a must! 2) Plan A, B & C as R&D different phases should be kept and progressed in the journey of 0=>1=>n, so that any possible failures will not automatically cause others always as a re-start. Today Aalto University's Radical Creativity launched a free-for-all online course on creativity and how to utilize it at work and everyday life. The panel discussion (not-so-radical form of exchange🤭) stated that creativity is often radical, it requires new perspectives to create new outcomes, but also structure to lead us somewhere. Everyone's creative, some of us even radical or provocative, but we have been taught to control our minds after early childhood. Language and the words we use are essential part of forming new ideas or surpressing them. To me Finnish language and culture are radical, we are an anomality on the European map, having our own way of thinking, connecting to our environment, being with people. Isn't it unique and radical, that a nation that requires minimum 2 meter safe space for everyone, squeezes in a tiny hot hut regularly with others, naked, and takes then a dip in the freezing snow, naked, swearing with some of those 5000 dirty words we have in our language! 😅 In my current job I can see, that as a secluded country and culture we have our own exceptional, even radical way of seeing&being in the world. It just needs to be liberated and harnessed to develop the society and economy.
