“M ”Olen saanut ilon työskennellä Kirsin kanssa MSD:llä hänen järjestäessään mm. koulutustilaisuuksia ja kongressimatkoja. Kirsin tinkimätön, järjestelmällinen ja tarmokas tapa hoitaa töitä takaa onnistuneen tapahtuman. Isojenkin tapahtumien suunnittelu hoituu taidolla.

“I was Direct Manager for Kirsi in 2013-14 when she was responsible for coordinating major Physician events at MSD. During that time she demonstrated high quality performance and the work she did was really first class. All events she arranged were great success. I can warmly recommend her to corresponding duties. ”

These lighter days are easier to capture, but it is still an example what I do in a day as a Human Resources Representative ✨ Voiceover is in Finnish, here is what I did: 🌻Morning routines: coffee, water, emails etc. 🌻Learning new as a part of my onboarding 🌻Scheduling my own work, I need to have everything on my calendar 🗓️ 🌻Giving employees broader rights for our working time tracking system 🌻Community ambassador duties: planning a board game night 🌻Writing LinkedIn-post for next week 🌻Setting goals for this year 🌻Team meeting and learning about sabbatical leave 🌻Translating some onboarding materials 🌻Used my Volunteer Time Off hours to crochet “safety squids” for premature babies 🌻Some updating on data and titles #LIFEatCRL

🗺 How to tackle vacation policies in a multi-cultural company? We celebrate the myriad of cultural and religious diversity within our team at Moder.app. We cherish the value that diversity brings to our team dynamics and creativity. While Finnish law provides certain holidays, we recognize the importance of accommodating the diverse needs of our employees. Recently, I came across an inspiring example from If Insurance, who addressed a similar challenge through comprehensive research and collaboration with trade unions. While we may not yet have the same level of influence, we are committed to finding meaningful solutions within our capacity. Putting our money where our mouth is, we announced a new approach to vacation policies. In addition to our standard six weeks of vacation, we encourage all employees to utilize their vacation days to observe and celebrate important cultural and religious holidays. We will prioritize these requests to ensure that every team member feels empowered to honor their traditions and beliefs without hesitation. I believe this is just the beginning of our journey toward greater inclusivity. I'd love to hear from you about how your organization promotes inclusivity in its vacation policies? #Inclusion #Diversity #EmployeeWellness

Company culture is a set of behaviours that translate into norms and ultimately values. Hygge to me is another way of describing an environment where people can focus on their best work without fear - fear of failing, fear of being judged, fear of making a mistake. It doesn't mean lack of focus on performance or success, in fact it's the opposite - it's striving for excellence without worrying about irrelevant stuff. That's the environment that drives high performance in teams (as well researched by Google in Project Aristotle) - people who feel threatened, unsafe and in competing mode all the time, don't perform to their best potential - logic does sometimes also prevail in research 💡 The vision of a high-performing and a Hygge-type culture is a lifelong journey and a lot depends on people who have the biggest impact on the day-to-day experience of our colleagues - our managers. We're up for the challenge though! #cyncly #lifeatcyncly #cynclyamazing

Testing in recruitment, still such a hot topic! Last week, a well-known Swedish psychiatrist took to national TV to absolutely roast the use of tests in hiring. My reaction? Grab the popcorn, LinkedIn fam! This is about to get interesting. The debate has been on fire since then. I’ve seen posts from people cheering it on and others passionately defending their stance. And you know what? I’m here for it. I wish every HR topic got this much attention - so many opinions, so many real-life examples being shared. Why? Because challenging what we think we know, no matter how experienced we are, is how we grow. It helps us sharpen our arguments and figure out if testing (in this case) really makes sense for our organizations. So, what’s next? Any other HR topics we should get a non-HR-super-expert-in-something-else to weigh in on? Let’s keep the debates rolling!

We are 250+ Peple now at #IgnitisRenewables and still keep actively joining All Employees Town Hall as when we were 50 🤩 This time sharing about the business and strategy updates, engineering competence center, community benefits and organisational culture shifts. And yet, People like People the most - Everyone was cheering when Emilija Musteikytė carried us away with the stories happened in the communities next to our project sites 💚 ⁉️ Is town hall format an old school? Oh, I don't this so 😉 #internalcommunication #peoplefirst #energysmart #sharingiscaring #organisationalculture #organisationaldevelopment

🫶The biggest compliment I can get in my role is when a customer of ours showcases the partnership they have with us and show how we help them revolutionize learning! 💫 Nikolina Talijan Hinic facilitated a gathering of 17 diverse organizations in the Nordics, all driven to upgrade their employee experience through practical and impactful learning strategies. It was hosted by IKEA in Älmhult, and together they tackled some hot topics: 1. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲: Making sure all the right people can easily get and use important information.📊 2. 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁: Keeping their learning content well-organized and easy to find makes everything smoother.📚 3. 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: With the right info, AI can make learning more personal and a lot more effective.🤖 Thank you IKEA for being such a great customer. 🥂

Last week, during our town hall, I joked with Jonas Ygeby about not standing next to him because he’s so tall, and I didn’t want to look small. Jokes aside, Jonas and his team have never made me feel small since I joined the leadership table. Over the weekend, I reflected on the key ingredients to not feeling small even when working with many experienced and “tall” people: #trust, a #growthmindset, #collaboration, and valuing diverse perspectives while staying focused on results. - True leadership isn’t about asserting dominance. It’s about creating an environment where everyone can thrive. Trust is key. I’ve seen incredible results when we trust our team’s abilities. - Our team has a growth mindset, encouraging continuous learning and supporting each other's ideas. It’s inspiring to watch us all grow and evolve. - We value diverse perspectives, which enrich our creativity and innovation. Ensuring everyone feels they belong and are heard is vital. I could write an entire article on this topic alone! - Promoting teamwork and breaking down silos has made our collective efforts powerful. It’s amazing what we can achieve together. I love hearing our leaders say, “It’s not about us; let’s make others look good!” Reflecting on these practices, I’m reminded that leadership is about building others up. Investing in our team's growth unlocks our collective potential, leading to success that resonates beyond individual accomplishments. Together, we rise! #LeadershipJourney #TeamGrowth #Empowerment #Success #InclusiveLeadership #ProfessionalDevelopment Hans Hallgren Ronald Harling Celine Luo Olsson Matthias Lidén Carina Hörstedt Andreas Engberg Patrik Ekhaga Xia Ming Ove Jönsson Eva Snis Nils Hjortblad Christina Barkstedt Anette Kjellvard

Human empathy vs algorithm and degradation Since I have opened my LinkedIn profile, many years ago, from time to time I see random people who put a logo on their profile picture - Open for work. Most of those people I do not know in person or at all (which makes this social network even more interesting) but, although I always share that someone is looking for a job for this or that reason, although I share my personal empathy for that person and, as said before, do not even know that person at all, do they REALLY in the end get reached by someone who ACTUALLY hire them? What is the visibility of those people on this network if they don't have much connections or if they do, doesn't matter? Does this network REALLY help them find new job and is that job what they want, what they would like to do and where they are/could be happy? Second thing I was always wondering, why is it so hard to give people a chance? Employers, why is it so hard to hire someone who maybe do not have experience in the field you opened position for, but would rather wait for maybe even few months to find someone who you think will be suitable for that position? Why not supporting people to grow, expand their knowledge, develop, experience, give them adventure, take a risk? I know there are a lot of people who are stuck in their "safety" within one position in the company for years and due to the specific of that position are unable to improve, to progress, learn and develop more, why not giving them a chance, if you see someone is ambitious, hard working, 10000% dedicated to work and company, willing to learn, to improve, if someone applied for a position that have never worked on, there is a reason for that, that person want a chance in that field, in that specific position, why not give it to him? I know, there are a lot on the plate that would be risked in that situation, I know everything is about finance and budget and bla bla bla... but I also know there are a lot of companies also that can provide that kind of "luxury" and make people really happy and unconditionally thankful and loyal, maybe even more than someone who can be perfect for that position! In the end, always remember, WHEN THE EMPLOYEE GROW, THE EMPLOYER GROW! 🤗

Stand Up for Your Rights: The Call for Change The tragic death of an EY employee has sparked much-needed discussions on corporate responsibility and employee well-being. It's a harsh reminder that there are countless other companies out there, and employees should feel empowered to stand up for their rights to avoid such devastating outcomes. Companies need to realize that a true workplace culture is not built on status or money—it’s shaped by the people, for the people, starting with leadership. Management must lead by example and foster environments where mental health and well-being are prioritized over profit and pressure. Let’s demand more from those at the top, and let’s ensure no one feels left behind in the workplace. #EmployeeRights #CorporateResponsibility #MentalHealthMatters #WorkplaceWellbeing #StandForChange

Is your LinkedIn profile working for you or against you? 🤔 I see profiles where people openly share every detail of their job search struggle in Finland. As a communications and marketing professional, here's my advice: don’t do that. The more you share about your problems, the more you become that 'unemployed person from LinkedIn' in people's minds. If all people remember about you is that you're unemployed and frustrated, that's a problem. Especially when recruiters or potential employers check out your profile, and all they see is complaints about how hard the Finnish job market is. Now, be honest, would you hire someone like that for your company? As an immigrant myself, I get the struggle. I really do. But I’m speaking from a personal branding perspective here. What should you do instead? Use your LinkedIn to show yourself as a professional! Share your expertise, insights, and what makes you stand out in your field. I know that a long job search can hurt your confidence, and that’s when you can turn that energy into showing why you ARE great and what makes you a real professional in the field you want to work in. Remember, your LinkedIn is your personal brand. Be the person recruiters and employers want to connect with — someone positive, proactive, and full of potential. Show your strengths, share your value, and let your profile work for you, not against you. 💪✨ #personalbrand #workinfinland #linkedin #finland #linkedinprofile

Officially an employee (again)… 🤠 It was around this time last year that I handed in my notice at my previous company, choosing the freelancing journey, and thinking that I will never want to be employed again. Yet here we are, one year later, becoming full-time employed as the first Employer Branding Manager at Robin AI. I’ve done quite a few videos with employees at Robin, asking them why they decided to join. Actually, it’s one of those questions that I feel like someone in my position should ask employees on a daily basis. While I won’t share their answers, I can share my personal reasons as to why I decided to join: 👉 Startup culture: There is so much learning to be had and so many lessons to be learned that you’d have to be very unlucky not to progress on a personal level. This also comes with a higher level of responsibility and ownership - both of which drive me forward. 👉 Equity: By joining, I have become an owner at Robin as every employee gets an equity package which I think is fantastic as it will motivate me to see the company grow and put in my best effort. 👉 The team: Every day, I work with incredibly smart, driven, and talented people, many of them I look up to in many ways and many of them I find inspiring. Additionally, some of them have become my mentors and have influenced my rapid progress so far. 👉 I WANT TO WIN: Lastly, I consider myself quite a competitive person and it will bring me a great joy once we win this two-horse race in the legal tech industry. Do you know your reasons behind joining a company you're currently at? #StartupCulture #Employee #BackInTheOffice #RobinAI
