The bank has a long history as a pioneer in digital retail and wholesale banking services. Nordea employs over 30,000 people in the Nordic region, the Baltics and Russia.

    As a pioneer in providing digital banking services, Nordea pays close attention to its customers’ emerging needs and a close eye on the newest developments in the financial industry. When Nordea contacted Futurice, the demand for a crowdfunding platform had been validated and they had a vision of how it would work in a banking context.

    Futurice was chosen as a partner to make the vision a reality. Nordea needed a company with rock-solid tech know-how and a level of comfort with financial services that would allow them to spar and question Nordea’s ideas and approach at critical junctures.

  • Nokia Trailers

    Nokia enlisted Futurice to design and create a mobile app offering movie-lovers a smooth and seamless browsing and viewing experience. Our remit was to create a dedicated app that rescued users from trawling through a variety of websites when they wanted to check the trailers of upcoming blockbusters. The entire experience was to be engineered holistically, from a user’s perspective, and fully utilizing the extensive capabilities of Qt on Symbian ^3.

  • Nokia WRC Live

    -

    Our enthusiastic team designed, created architecture for, and developed the perfect WRC application. We had many interesting discussions with WRC organization, Nokia colleagues, and rally fans. The solution includes client applications for Nokia with Windows Phone, Meego N9, Nokia Symbian^3, Series 40 and 60 devices, and an entire server-side infrastructure to serve these clients. The application uses and promotes Nokia Services e.g. Nokia Maps, by showing live tracking of the cars.
