This year’s Christmas donation target, Doctors Without Borders, is to provide medical care for millions of people amid wars, epidemics, and natural disasters every day of the year. Doctors Without Borders is an impartial, neutral, and independent organisation offering medical care in over 75 countries around the world. Together we can help where it is needed most. This week we gathered in Västerås, Sweden for the annual PHM Key Employee Event. Nearly 250 participants from all our six countries, numerous interesting groupwide and country-specific presentations on topics such as strategy, growth and our digital future, and lots of networking and meeting new colleagues in a great setting made possible by The Steam Hotel. "It always makes me very glad and proud when seeing our people together, enjoying each other's company and discussing the future path of PHM," says Ville Rantala, Group CEO.   We are delighted and proud of the development of our company and what a great community we have grown into. This will be a great opportunity to continue executing our strategy across the Group - in different countries and in the nearly 200 local companies and with over 13,400 employees of PHM Group. As a continuously growing company, we develop our operations in a variety of ways. In addition to the Group's joint development projects, we are also accelerating growth at country level. One excellent result of our country-level development projects is a new residential cleaning service concept launched in Finland called PHM Aski. More than 100 people from various local companies have been involved in the development of residential cleaning services. We have brought together our best practices and created common ways to deliver high quality and responsible cleaning services for residential properties. The following appointments have been made to the PHM Group Management Team. Michael Stucki, Country Director for Switzerland and member of the Group Management Team, has been appointed Country Director also for Germany as of 1 September. Andreas Westin has moved to a new position outside the company. Petri Pellonmaa, CFO of PHM Group, has been appointed Acting Country Director for Sweden. He will continue as Acting Country Director until a successor of Andreas Westin is appointed. “I would like to thank Andreas for his outstanding contribution at PHM Group. I wish him good luck and success for the future. At the same time, I am very pleased that Michael will also take over the role of Country Director for Germany. Our great growth continues as PHM Group Holding Oyj reported in its Half-year Report published last week LFL revenue more than EUR 1 billion and improved profitability. The second quarter was operationally successful, as PHM achieved continued revenue growth and improved profitability. M&A activity increased significantly again in the second quarter of 2024, with PHM making ten acquisitions in the second quarter of 2024. Two of them were strategically significant acquisitions: the acquisition of the Real Estate Services business of Investis Group, which saw PHM expand to Switzerland, and the acquisition of DEAS Real Estate Services from DEAS Group, which significantly strengthens PHM’s position in Denmark. PHM Group has appointed Michael Stucki as CEO and Country Director of PHM Switzerland and a member of the PHM Group’s Management Team as of 1 July 2024. Michael Stucki is currently CEO of Investis Group’s Real Estate Services business, which is now part of PHM Group. He has solid experience in leading property services as CEO of multiple subsidiaries of Investis Group’s Real Estate Services business. “I warmly welcome Michael to lead our Swiss operations and to join the Group Management Team. I look forward to continuing our growth story in Switzerland and believe that Michael’s experience and expertise will enable us to strengthen our position in the Swiss market,” says Ville Rantala, Group CEO of PHM Group. “Our entire team is delighted to be part of PHM. We look forward to achieving new successes together with PHM. Together we will continue to expand our presence in Switzerland,” says Michael Stucki.

PHM Group expands to the geographical center of Germany. PHM Deutschland GmbH has acquired Schöne Gebäude-Reinigung GmbH and Schöne & Co. Tech GmbH (together "SCHÖNE”), both based in Kassel. In addition to the main service portfolio of cleaning and maintenance, provided by Schöne Gebäude-Reinigung GmbH, Schöne & Co. Tech GmbH provides electrical engineering and related activities.
