About us

Into Kustannus Oy is an edgy Finnish publishing company. It was founded in 2007. We publish fiction and non-fiction books. Into aims at broadening the literary field in Finland by actively bringing up current topics in culture and society. Authors Some of the foreign authors translated and published by us are Naomi Klein, Arne Dahl, Thomas Piketty, Luke Harding, Andy Weir and Denise Rudberg. Into has stood out for its unique profile and its many-sided, innovative publishing program. Many of our books have achieved excellent visibility, receiving awards and nominations. For example, Riina Tanskanen was awarded with Tiedonjulkistamisen valtionpalkinto for Tympeät tytöt in 2022. Hanna Nikkanen and working group’s Hyvän sään aikana was awarded the Kanava award for best non-fiction book and nominated for the Tieto-Finlandia award in 2017. Kalle Kniivilä’s Putinin väkeä – Venäjän hiljainen enemmistö (“Putin’s folk: The Quiet Majority of Russia”)
