The Store Worker / Stocker has primary responsibility for proper placement of contractor-stocked merchandise.
Position is part time and should expect one to forty hours per week.
This position is located in Eielson AFB.
Per the WDR this position has a Health and Welfare rate of $4.
41 per hour included, this rate excludes overtime and are subject to change.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Dust merchandise and shelves as prescribed in the contract Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Stock merchandise in allocated space matching UPC number on item to shelf label.
Verify correct number of facing and rotate stock.
Block all items as indicated in PWS.
Identify and remove damaged items, tape label, if possible, to repair.
Break down boxes and dispose of properly in accordance with PWS.
Attends training seminars, in-service sessions, and staff meetings.
Responsible for maintaining training compliance in accordance with FRA policies and procedures, state and federal regulations.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma (preferred)
2.
One-Year experience in grocery stocking (preferred).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to stock commissary shelves at a minimum average of 65 (sixty-five) cases per hour.
Knowledge or willingness to learn proper stocking techniques.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

Pushing: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, press against something with steady force in order to thrust forwards, downward or outward.
Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.
Repetitive Motions: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes (i.
e.
warehouses, covered loading docks, garages, etc.
)
Worker is subject to atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: Fumes, orders, dust, mists, gases or poor ventilation.
