Job Purpose
• Collect data for several Value Added/ Value Engineering projects.
• Process development & documentation of manufacturing work instructions.
• Assist and test the development of new operator friendly tooling designs/capabilities.
• Perform research, design & development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods & production equipment.
• Assemble, test and analyze specified products to meet various customer performance requirements
• Write and present reports on all active projects.
• Assist production with manufacturing issues as required.
• Interface with other disciplines including: production, safety, and lean manufacturing
• Record and collect test data.
• Uphold the mission and quality statement.
• All other duties as directed by management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Required Skills:
• Pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Experience with Manufacturing or Assembly a plus
• Computer proficiency in a Windows environment utilizing Microsoft Office
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to permit effective interaction with all levels of Dana and external customers.
• Self-directed and motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and accepts responsibility.
