*SUMMARY:* Overall responsibility of this position is to communicate quality issues that may arise.
Review and disposition material as needed.
Report daily issue with Quality Manager.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
* Responsible for reviewing the daily hold reports.
* Responsible for releasing material via dispomatic report.
* Lead day-to-day activities and improvement activities for Quality department.
* Prioritize workload efficiently for quality department.
* Communicating any quality issues with mill tech services
* Discuss quality issues with quality manager.
* Conduct internal audits for the quality management system.
* Participate in quality related meetings.
* Complete yield reports for the Slitter / Blanker
* Complete scrap report
* Maintain quality standards.
* Weekly review of aging material.
* Monthly quality activity.
* Review customer returns
* Review customer claims

*EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: *Two-year degree from college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
Experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production work environment is a plus.
Experience working with various metals is also a plus.
Experience with ISO and IATF standards are a plus.
*LANGUAGE SKILLS: *Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, quality manuals, operational procedures, and work instructions.
Must have the ability to write work instruction, process procedures, standards, routine reports, and correspondence when required.
Must also be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization when required.
*MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: *Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations when required.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs when required.
Experience with the metric system is a plus.
*REASONING ABILITY: *Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
*OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: *Ability to use ten key calculator, perform data entry, and use various personal computer software (Microsoft Office and SharePoint).
