#AI is really changing the way #biomarkers are currently being tested and positively impacting the patient experience. The amount of information available can only be translated to the benefit of #healthcare if we embrace this innovative tool that can largely support clinical decisions in many ways. Thanks to the Fundación Formación y Futuro for creating the space where the different #stakeholders (clinicians, patients, pathologists, policy writers, industry, etc) can learn, discuss and explore innovative ways in the path forward. Thanks also to EL MÉDICO INTERACTIVO for the opportunity to collaborate and to provide insights in #PrecisionMedicine . Looking to the future, there are 2 key take away messages from our brilliant speakers that I would like to share, as personally I see them as pivotal to shape the next step of this revolution: 1) #Clinicians will increasingly require the skill to work with #probability and different scenario planning, as data integration from multiple sources will lead to different treatment options/decisions that are currently not available. 2) The implementation of AI and its training has also a #cost which is currently not low. #HTA and health agencies will need more and more to look into the process in a holistic manner, as the introduction of an extra budget at one point of the patient treatment can have a cost-saving effect throughout the value chain. The AI revolution is already part of the present and we need to pave the way to enable equal access to patients to it. #bettertesting #reimbursement #pathology #data
