False Scarcity: Does It Really Work? 🤔 Revolut has sent me 10+ emails in last 10 months saying "Only X days remaining to earn 40€." IMO, that just hurts customer trust. I thought nothing could surprise me anymore in AI, but I was wrong. I just learned that Klarna is dropping two major software providers. I know companies change, but if there were ever tools that seemed essential, it was Salesforce and Workday. They had everything a business relies on: They were reliable. And crucial to daily operations. They managed data. They kept things running smoothly. Always there when needed. They were so important that they became the core of many departments. They often went beyond their original purpose. And they were trusted by top leaders in the industry. These tools seemed unbeatable. Until they weren't. Here's what I realized: You can't rely on the same tools forever. New technology, like AI, can do things faster and cheaper. 20 years from now, the companies that thrive will be those that adapt. My advice: Stay open to new tools. Look for better ways to work. Be willing to change. Aim to improve. Do your best work. But remember: Trying new AI tools can replace expensive processes with faster, better, cheaper ones. No matter how comfortable you are with current systems, embracing new technology can boost productivity.

Paris-based startup Mistral AI has just closed a staggering €600M funding round at a €5.8bn valuation. Their rapid rise showcases the explosive growth and potential of AI. As a heavy user of AI tools in my work at Glafos, I find this AI race very exciting. Thanks to new tech and tooling built on top of it, we can keep our team lean while efficiently writing code, creating content, optimizing customer support, and more. AI enables us to test our ideas, deploy quickly, and maintain a swift learning loop, which is important for an early-stage startup. However, this rapid technological progress comes with significant societal implications. It's estimated that up to 40% of the workforce will need retraining in the next three years.
