🚀 Introducing the Spanish Design System Database! 🇪🇸 After much thought and noticing a gap in knowledge about what companies in Spain are building them, I’ve compiled an extensive database of design systems made by Spaniards or for Spanish companies. This project includes not just design systems but also specialists, job opportunities, and relevant events. The goal is to help designers connect, collaborate, and take pride in the incredible products being built in our country. The inspiration for this initiative came from Tiago Almeida’s Swedish Design Systems, which has been a fantastic resource for the community. Now, it’s time for 🇪🇸*españita*🇪🇸 to have its own! What’s included in the database? 🗂️ ✨ Design Systems from Spain Although there aren’t many public design systems in Spain yet, this can change with your contributions! Let’s grow the list together. 👩‍💻 Design System Specialists A directory of passionate professionals who are either Spanish or work for Spanish companies. We aim to connect as many design system enthusiasts as possible! 💼 Job Board An up-to-date board of design system-related job opportunities across Spain. 📅 Events Looking for Systems or Product events in Spain? We’ve got you covered with a regularly updated list of relevant events in the sector. 📚 Resources From books and podcasts to (soon) newsletters, tools, articles, and more! Lastly (but not less important) a small set of interviews called “Be(tween) Designers” will be released every now and then, with great insides from spanish Systems Designers! 🤗 My Portfolio v2 is here. So, after some weeks of prep and learning how to use Framer, I've finally developed the second stable version of my Portfolio (the first one was done using Adobe Portfolio). Antonia Delnevo Acosta and I explored the factors that contribute towards the surprisingly low number of design leadership positions held by females. One of the key things we discussed, a lack of relatable role models in these positions. Don't get me wrong this is changing and we're starting to see the number of females in these positions rise, but we have a long way to go.
