Over the past few weeks, the integration and testing phases of the InPercept project have been conducted. During these sessions, the perception systems developed by Capgemini, FICOSA and HI Iberia Ingeniería y Proyectos have been successfully integrated into Capgemini and Ficosa vehicles. Additionally, the TCU developed by IDNEO for V2X communication and the HMI developed by Inelmatic Electronics have been incorporated. These technologies form the final system that has been developed over the last two years as part of the project InPercept funded by CDTI Innovación - Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación and aimed at enhancing the capabilities of automated and connected vehicles.
In addition to the integration of these technologies, we have conducted tests for the defined use cases in collaboration with ORIM. These use cases include the detection of vulnerable road users and movement prediction, vehicle and traffic signal detection, and cooperative perception. These trials have demonstrated promising results, highlighting the collaborative effort and innovation from all involved partners.
Finally, the Milestone 2 review of the project was conducted at Ficosa's facilities with all the partners. During this review, we examined the project's progress over the period and showcased the final results through demonstrators.
👥 A big shoutout to all the partners for their hard work and collaboration. Together, we are shaping the future of automotive technology. This milestone marks a significant step towards achieving our goal of improving the efficiency, safety, and connectivity of automated vehicles.
