🚨 Big news for digital health innovation in Spain! 🚨 Barcelona Health Hub is thrilled to announce the launch of Madrid Health Hub. 🚀 It's an initiative to expand and unify the #digitalhealth ecosystem across Spain. It aims to advance innovation in digital health and its transfer to the health sector to make a real impact in patients' lives. With the creation of a “Health Innovation Bridge” between Madrid and Barcelona, this new hub will connect professionals, startups, corporations, hospitals, and investors from the two cities with the largest concentration of #healthtech companies in the country. Madrid Health Hub and Aticco have signed a collaboration agreement to establish MHH’s new physical headquarters in Madrid. Strategically located near key hospitals, this space will serve as a hub for startups, investors, and corporate innovation teams, creating new opportunities to drive healthcare transformation. 🌟 What does this mean for digital health? 🚀 This expansion strengthens Spain’s position as a global leader in digital health, creating synergies across ecosystems to compete with hubs in cities like Berlin and Amsterdam. 🚀 The dynamic partnership between BHH and MHH will offer great opportunities for startups, corporations, and health organizations to thrive in both cities. BHH member VB Devices will have expanded its international presence with Varixio LATAM to over 30 countries by the end of 2024. 🚀 They launched VARIXIO in Spain in early 2021. By the end of that year, the company had already received orders from 15 other countries, but Spanish sales represented more than 50% of the total. Since then, the product’s international footprint has doubled to over 30 countries, with sales outside of Spain representing over 70% of the total. This trend is expected to accelerate in 2025 as VB Devices adds exciting new markets, including India, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
