Our students, faculty, postdocs and researchers aren’t the only ones committed to being boundless in the face of today’s pressing environmental issues. There’s an incredible, dedicated group of people who help push the College’s research forward through their support. For example, many of UW Environment’s alumni — more than 17,000 people living in all 50 states and 75 countries — are leaders at the helm of the organizations we engage with day-to-day. Hundreds of citizen scientists collect data, monitor sites and catalog their findings alongside scientists from the College; philanthropists contribute their hard-earned capital towards furthering the College’s work; and community members share news coming out of the College with their personal networks.
