DYK for Barnham Court

On 24 March 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Barnham Court, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Barnham Court in West Sussex is built in a similar style to Kew Palace in London? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Barnham Court. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Barnham Court), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

I've read this sentence at least a million times but I don't understand what you mean. Sorting on Coppa Italia finals table doesn't work properly because of the columns that say the scores on aggregate, and get bundled up together when sorting.

However, I have now learned the mistakes you and others mentioned in the WP: ANI and I won't participate in GAs and FLs discussions until at least December. Dr Salvus 21:40, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bosnia national team

The original users who were pushing this template come from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football/National_teams and you didn't even give a day for other people to come in and debate this template change. Stop claiming WP:OWN, hundreds of people edit this page and I have never reverted anyone. Have fun allowing this page to decay as the users who pushed this change don't care about this page and only want to push this template change on every national team, I'm over this. Good job pushing legitimate wikipedia users out without so much as any discussion.Bihnt123 (talk) 23:19, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The point of a template approach is to have consistency. Joseph2302 (talk) 14:52, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Barnston Manor

On 27 March 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Barnston Manor, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the 13th-century Barnston Manor was owned by the same family for 700 years before being put up for sale in 2018? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Barnston Manor. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Barnston Manor), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. On 27 March 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Marjan Haydaree, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Marjan Haydaree. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Marjan Haydaree), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Hello! Your submission of 2021 British Athletics Marathon and 20km Walk Trial at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Thank you

For your comments at the ANI thread - they were very much appreciated. Take care. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 20:28, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well it was a stupid thread. Their argument was about guidelines, so they should have brought it up at a discussion page, rather than picking on you. Joseph2302 (talk) 21:16, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Running SNG

Hi there. You've most likely seen the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Notability (sports). It has made me rethink the running SNG and seeing as you are one of the only other users who contributes in this area, I just wanted to hear your thoughts. The modern running SNG was written in 2010 and seems to have been written by just one user ([10]). That was 11 years ago and running, especially long-distance has changed an awful lot. Participation has greatly increased and the marathon world record has decreased by over two minutes. Therefore, I think some changes need to be made. For example, number 1. of WP:NATH Have competed in the Olympics, the IAAF World Championships in Athletics, the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics, the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, or the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships (former IAAF World Road Running Championships). seems a little lax in the sense that the 2020 World Athletics Half Marathon Championships had runners in the 1:10s which is a long way off international level. Also number 2. Finished top 8 in a competition at the highest level outside of the Olympic Games and world championships seems a little strict seeing as the 10th place finishers in the men's race decreased by 7 minutes between the 2010 London Marathon and 2020 London Marathon. These are just a couple of thoughts and I wanted to see what you had to say. Kind regards, Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 11:20, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Creation of female footballers

Good job on the creation of female footballers articles! Very glad to see full formed articles (as opposed to one-line stubs)! Keep it up :) --SuperJew (talk) 19:40, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I go through phases of creating things, and women's footballers seem to be my thing right now. Joseph2302 (talk) 20:31, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Téné Birahima Ouattara

On 5 April 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Téné Birahima Ouattara, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Ivorian politican Téné Birahima Ouattara, the brother of the country's president, is nicknamed "Photocopy" due to their similar appearance? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Téné Birahima Ouattara.
