The Universal Health Insurance Authority (UHIA) and Northeastern University, in association with GlobeMed Egypt and GlobeMed Group launched the recommendations of the impactful research study initiative: “Harnessing the Role of the Private Sector in Advancing the Universal Health Coverage in Egypt”. The prestigious event was held under the patronage and in the presence of the Minister of Finance of Egypt and Head of the Universal Health Insurance Authority H.E. Mohammad Maait, with the participation of H.E. Minister of Health & Population Dr. Khaled Abdel Al Gaffar & H.E. Michel Pharaon, Chairman of GlobeMed Egypt, and the virtual participation of President Joseph Aoun and deans and doctors from the Northeastern University. The event witnessed prominent attendance from the Advisor to the President of Egypt for Health and prevention affairs, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, and Mrs. Mai Farid Director of UHIA, along with directors from the public sector main institutions in the health and the insurance sector, and the representatives of major international health organizations in Egypt. The representatives of the Egyptian health and insurance private sector syndicates and companies also attended, in addition to the GlobeMed Group public sector regional specialists who encouraged and promoted the research study, highlighting the benefits of cooperation between the private and public sectors. #insurance #healthinsurance #healthcare #event #finance #research #university #egypt #health
