【ICG Weekly Insight：Microsoft is set to decide whether to invest in Bitcoin】 Cryptocurrency experienced a pullback in prices this week due to ongoing situation in the Middle East. Despite the dip, BTC and ETH inflows remained strong, pushing the BTC/ETH price ratio to 27.4, the highest since June 2021. All sectors experienced declines except for the NFT sector, which saw growth driven by APE. Research suggests that personal investors dominate holdings in U.S. and European spot cryptocurrency ETFs, while institutional participation remains relatively low. Additionally, Bitcoin's average network hash rate and mining difficulty reached new all-time highs. In traditional markets, COMEX gold prices hit a record high of $2,758 per ounce this week. Meanwhile, the U.S. SEC approved multiple spot BTC ETF options；Microsoft shareholders are set to vote in December on whether to allocate at least 1% of the company’s assets ($4.8 billion) to Bitcoin investments.
