Following a thorough investigation into allegations of excessive pricing, Baltic Classifieds Group received the positive decision from Estonian competition authority (‘ECA’) confirming that our Kv.ee, City24.ee and Auto24.ee pricing strategies are fair and in compliance with competition law. Thats a very interesting topic on the two-sided markets. Being a clear market leader does not automatically mean that you act against the rules. ECA also confirmed that high profitability rates in online markets - are fine. Especially in the two-sided markets. Instead, ECA looked whether pricing reflects the economic value of the services. For the analysis we used traffic data, as well as the take-rates and quality-adjusted price over time.  That’s the second and the third decision on excessive pricing during the 5 years, uff (first on Aruodas.lt). #Slovakia eFaktúra Plans 📅 In April, the Slovakian Ministry of Finance (MoF) released the draft National Reform Program (NPR), outlining upcoming reforms for the country. One notable focus highlighted by the MoF is the advancement towards #eInvoicing, with a particular emphasis on adopting the eFaktúra system. 💡 The Slovakian MoF plans to implement the eInvoicing system nationwide in alignment with the EU’s ViDA initiative, awaiting approval from the EU. Receiving compensation for damages from an insurance company is a situation that requires special attention in a sole proprietor’s tax #accounting in the #Czech_Republic. Let’s look at some practical examples to understand how to act correctly in such cases. Important to remember: Only sole proprietors (individuals) are subject to tax accounting. Such an entrepreneur’s business assets include all property used in business activities (long-term assets, inventory, accounts receivable, securities, etc.) that is recorded in tax accounting. Section 4(1)(d) of the Income Tax Act (ITA) #taxes insurance payments for lost property as income for the entrepreneur. Including the compensated property in the #business assets at the time of the insured event is crucial. If the entrepreneur has incurred losses, these are expenses for their elimination. The insurance payment, in turn, compensates for these increased expenses. Let’s take a closer look at a specific example. #360wedo #tax #CZ #Prague

This law, which aligns with the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework, aims to provide a clearer structure for the oversight and operation of crypto services. 🔍 Key Highlights: - **Regulatory Oversight**: The National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) will now oversee crypto activities, regulating everything from public token offerings to service providers in the crypto space. - **Licensing Requirements**: Moving forward, companies engaging in crypto transactions will need to obtain proper licensing, ensuring greater transparency and security for all stakeholders. - **Transitional Provisions**: Existing service providers will now have a reduced timeframe of 12 months (instead of 18) to comply with these new regulations. New Type of Crime - Car Races! 🏎️ 🌪️ 👉 The Minister of the Interior and Administration, Tomasz Siemieniak, along with the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Administration, proposed on Friday the introduction of a new type of crime into the Penal Code - organizing and participating in car races. 👉 A new sanction (in addition to fines and imprisonment) for such a crime could involve notifying insurers about vehicles participating in races. 👉 Drifting, also known as car drifting, may also be prohibited. This offense could be punishable by a fine from 1500 PLN, a 3-month driver's license suspension, and the confiscation of the vehicle for 30 days. 👉 To increase road safety, the possibility of increasing sanctions for reckless driving and causing accidents as a result of a car race is also being considered. 👮‍♀️ ✋
