Recently spoke in Brussels about the state of defence investment at the European Angel Investment Summit, organized by EBAN - European Business Angel Network and the European Commission. Investment into the defence sector is growing in Europe, albeit often with a "dual-use" clause. I argued that in a time of security crisis, as Europe is in currently, there is no room anymore for a taboo on single-use defence companies. Wars are avoided and won unfortunately only with better missiles, more kinetic capabilities and faster decision-making. Hampering investment into this is directly hampering European security as a whole. Thank you to my fellow talented panelists Dominykas Milasius, Jack Wang and Emmanuel Ankri, for the passionate discussion!
