The main reason I attended #CH2024 were all the LinkedIn posts from the week after #CH2023. I knew I had to be there, and I'm very glad I was there this time. I see most of the attendees are sharing posts to recap the event and show their appreciation, but I host a podcast and I pay for a Descript subscription, so here's my video recap. Hopefully it nudges at least one person into attending for the first time next year. TLDV: It was a blur. No way to tag everyone I'd like to tag, sorry for that and I will do my best. Ton, everything I heard about the event was true. So much hype, and all of it real. Thank you for creating this experience for all of us. My crew: Tracy, Bjarn, Julia and Nils, you're the most amazing people in the world. Els and Karl, it was so nice to see you both! Kevin, I hope I never go to a conference without having a chance to have a chat with you. Erin and Lukas, seeing people so successful yet so humble will always be inspiring. Abi, that talk was special. And thank you again for introducing me to Arnout! 🔎 Charles and the rest of the Seal Team 9, I enjoyed filling my shoes with sand with you! Kelly, congratulations of being an undefeated "Experimentation, WTF?!?" champion. Tim, thank you for one of the most entertaining talks I've seen in my life. Dronemaster David it was great to finally meet in person. Chris, it always so nice to see you!

Let's explore one of Einstein’s big questions: do you see the universe as a friendly place or a hostile one? This simple choice can shape everything about your life, from how you see the world to what you believe is possible for you. But let’s be real, most of us coast through life without ever really thinking about it. Change often only hits when life forces us to a breaking point. So, let’s talk about how realizing this can open up new paths and help you grow in ways you might not have thought possible. From the latest and greatest episode with Gerda Vogt-Thomas. This is a common trap for entrepreneurs: pouring time and money into building a product without first making sure customers actually want it. Let's talk about the emotional hurdles that can hold people back, things like fear of failure and hesitation to put their ideas out there. These are challenges entrepreneurs face all the time, and they’re often the first things investors ask about. Why do these fears happen and how to avoid them so you can set yourself up for real success? Get the full episode at nohackspod.com

In this video, Gerda breaks down why CRO is really all about common sense and understanding your specific context. Learn how to assess your business’s unique needs and figure out when it makes sense to take bigger risks, especially if you're a small business or startup. You’ll also learn why small experiments sometimes aren’t worth the time or money and what kinds of strategies can actually drive real growth. Get the episode at nohackspod.com

New episode is out! This week I chat with Gerda Vogt-Thomas, co-founder of Koalatative, about risk, growth, and why experimenting with small steps is often the smartest path forward. Gerda has a very practical take on managing challenges—whether you’re optimizing a website or taking on personal goals. We talk about how experimenting and gathering feedback (instead of chasing perfection) can lead to better results, both in business and life. We also also pitched a Dragons' Den spin-off, but it's a therapy show. Dragons' Zen? Dragons' Denial? Tune in, and let us know what stands out to you! This week on No Hacks, Gerda Vogt-Thomas shares her perspective on using experimentation to manage risks and fuel growth, both in business and everyday life. Gerda, a CRO expert and co-founder of Koalatative, brings a refreshing look at why taking small steps is often the best way to tackle big challenges. From balancing data and intuition to embracing the unknown, Gerda talks about how we can reframe our approach to risk. Perfect doesn’t need to be the goal; learning and adjusting along the way can be just as powerful. Also discussed: * Gerda’s first (terrifying!) skiing adventure * Testing different types of cat litter * Turning Dragons' Den into a therapy show Didn't make the cut but worth bragging about: * Sani's knowledge of late 90's and early 00's Estonian decathlon 🇪🇪
