  • We are proud to be supporting Ukraine with continuous partnership and standing by the country's efforts to strengthen its cyber resilience 🛡️ That's why, together with e-Governance Academy, we organized the largest cybersecurity exercise in Ukraine to date, "UA-EE Cyber Shield via Tallinn Mechanism," which brought together 240+ experts from state authorities, critical enterprises, and academia. Thanks to all of the partners and supporters involved in this project! 🤝 💡 To learn more about the exercise, have a look at the overview on our blog: https://lnkd.in/dJw2z3Fm Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV), Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, CDTO Campus, National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCSCC), Defence Council of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine.

  • Another exceptional cybersecurity event made possible with our partners and collaborators! 🇺🇦 Together with e-Governance Academy, the CybExer team went to Ukraine to organize a three-day-long cybersecurity exercise, “UA-EE Cyber Shield via Tallinn Mechanism.” This event brought together over 240 cyber experts from Ukraine’s state authorities, critical enterprises, and academic institutions, making it the largest cybersecurity exercise to date 🛡️ The primary objective of this activity was to strengthen Ukrainian participants’ knowledge and skills required to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats, which are essential for protecting critical infrastructure units from cyber attacks. 💭 The Prime Minister of Estonia, Kristen Michal, highlighted the importance of these types of events: „Our ambition with this Cyber Shield exercise is not just to carry out a single event. We aim to establish a broader exercise program, and we have already reached out to several partner countries to collaborate on this initiative. Together, we can create something even more impactful.” A heartfelt thank you to the supporters of this exercise – the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV) in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, CDTO Campus, National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCSCC), Centre of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, and the Security Service of Ukraine. This exercise is a continuation of our long-term collaboration to strengthen the cyber resilience of Ukrainian organizations! 📸 Pictures by Ivan Topolenko, Dmitrii Bortkevych, eGA.

  • Thank you to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia for organizing this productive trip to Doha! 🇶🇦 Last week, our team was part of the Estonian delegation visit to Qatar, where we had an opportunity to hold fruitful meetings with four different ministries and connect with local organizations to showcase our product. The visit was a great success. We strongly believe in the power of sharing experiences on an international level.

This week, Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna became the first 🇪🇪 FM to make an official visit to Doha, Qatar 🇶🇦. During his visit, he met with Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, to discuss closer bilateral relations, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the security situation in the Middle East, and opportunities for Estonian entrepreneurs in the Gulf market.   The visit was a great success, with Minister Tsahkna accompanied by a business delegation including representatives from Bolt, Helmes - Software Development Company, DefSecIntel Solutions, LEAN DIGITAL, Bercman Technologies, Elcogen, CybExer Technologies, Nortal, and the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The delegation held productive meetings with four different ministries and multiple organizations and companies.   Estonia and Qatar both share a strong eagerness for technology and innovation. In the evening, Minister Tsahkna attended the MENA FINTECH FESTIVAL, where he was the closing keynote speaker on Estonia’s digital development and participated in a networking event hosted by Ambassador Maria Belovas aimed at fostering business connections.   A heartfelt thank you to Qatar for the warm hospitality.

Wrapping up this week at NATO Edge, hosted for the first time in the US, with the next event planned for Turkey. It was great to see strong representation from Finland and Sweden following their recent accession to NATO. The event was packed with cutting-edge technologies, innovative ideas, and forward-looking plans. I had the honor of briefly discussing cyber preparedness and how CybExer Technologies' innovative geolocational layer for cyber range contributes to it with Manfred Boudreaux-Dehmer, CIO of the NATO, and Dr. Mart Noorma, Director of the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE).

  • Thank you to all of the participants and partner organizations for making the Army Cyber Spartan 24 happen!

    Commissioned Officer at British Army

Endex Army Cyber Spartan 24! That’s a wrap on one of the largest Defensive Cyber Exercises in the UK, Europe and arguably the world! 34 teams, with over 350 exercise participants, drawn from the Field Army, Army Reserve, UK Law Enforcement, the NHS and most welcome partner nations from Europe to South America. Delivered and supported by a team of over 100 enablers, the event is truly wholeforce. Special thanks to our industry partner, CybExer Technologies, who have been key to exercise delivery across the full spectrum of enabling functions. ACS demonstrates the Army’s ability to deliver Defensive Cyber training and assessment at scale. With training objectives and activity mapped to recognised industry frameworks including NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK, it puts our people on a great footing to meet the challenges of defending our digital assets. It’s been an absolute privilege to have directed ACS this year. More broadly, I am especially proud to have helped place the Army’s cyber exercise family on a programmatic footing, serving the needs of the end user through to our organisational defensive elements. It is - and always will be - a team effort, however, and to everyone who made the event what it is (and also to the hard working Blue Teams!), I salute you. Time to draw breath, before ploughing into the post exercise report - the lessons are often the most important element! I am already looking forward to Army Cyber Praetorian in Feb 25 👊 #CyberSecurity #BritishArmy #CyberAcademy
