We’re hiring for a full-time Farm Equipment Operator in Medaryville, IN about 1 hour north of Lafayette, IN.
You will be operating farm equipment such as tractors, combine, planter, tractor-trailer, and other specialized farm equipment.
We offer competitive hourly pay along with health insurance and paid vacation.
This position is for you if you:
Have prior experience operating farm or other heavy equipment; sprayer and applicating experience is preferred but not required.
Have farm truck driving experience.
Enjoy working out outdoors and are comfortable with the longer hours required during the peak seasons.
Are known for being a hard worker, having great communication skills, and great flexibility.
Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
What you would be doing:
Operate farm equipment such as tractors, combines, pickers, planters, semis, tillage.
Work with GPS and other precision ag technology.
Perform light maintenance on equipment such as replacing belts, changing bearings, oil changes, etc.
Assist with crop irrigation.
Delivering grain to local and regional elevators/terminals.
Assist in other areas of the farm as needed such as grain handling, crop scouting, heavy equipment and facility maintenance.
