*Primary Functions:*
* Keep electrical equipment such as wiring motors, switches, and electrical mechanisms in good repair and operating condition.
* Install a variety of complicated electrical and some mechanical equipment.
* Able to diagnose and remedy trouble quickly to avoid shutdowns.
* Layout, install, and maintain a wide variety of complicated electrical equipment and some mechanical equipment such as special automatic controls, Engine Room, large switchboards, motors, lighting circuits, limit switches, and relays.
* Maintain controls in conveyor systems and repaired AC and DC motors.
* Maintain and repair control equipment on complicated production machines.
* Occasionally lay out and direct work of helpers, mentor, and assist lower scale electricians
* Other duties as assigned
*Basic Qualifications:*
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Journeymen Card or equivalent amount of experience/education
* Proficient in reading and writing
* Previous foundry experience a PLUS.
*Physical Demands:*
* Willingness to work in a non-climate controlled, foundry environment.
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
* Use of hand and power tools
