The AI track of the Google for Education Pilot Program is an AI-focused subset of the Google for Education Pilot Program that provides early access to Google for Education’s emerging AI and generative AI products and features, enabling users to experiment with new features and provide feedback to help inform the future of our Google Workspace for Education products.
PLEASE NOTE:
- This program is for ENTIRE academic institutions (Schools/Districts) and is NOT intended for individuals. Only admins at your organization can express interest in joining the Program. If you’re not an admin, please contact an admin at your organization to express interest in joining. Admins will have the ability to allowlist a subset of age 18+ staff and/or admin users.
- In order to be eligible to participate in these opportunities, participants must be Google Workspace for Education customers, be 18 or older, and be using Google Classroom.
- This program is currently only available in English.
- Completing this form does not automatically guarantee that your institution will be selected for piloting.
- Companies, Partners, and Service providers are not eligible.
- This Program is separate from Google Workspace’s Enterprise Labs program, Bard Early Access Apps, and Duet AI Enterprise add-on.
- Once launched to general availability, features may appear in a different Google Workspace for Education edition.
Feature Set Description
This Pilot Program provides early access to Google for Education’s emerging AI and generative AI products and features. We will provide notice to eligible admins when new features become available to them. The initial Pilot will include features such as the ability to generate:
- editable lesson plan outlines using generativeAI, based on teacher requirements.
- questions and hooks in Classroom using the help of AI
- personalized grade appropriate reading material for their students and create Read Along in Classroom assignments
- Future features may include capabilities like assessment generation, concept explainer generation, and help with evaluating student work.
