I promised some amusing insights on document management earlier.   18 years ago, I am in the deep forests of Sweden, meeting with 18 archivists. Here’s my take on what an archivist does: An archivist is a professional who specializes in preserving, organizing, and managing records and documents.   I asked, "You are people who gather and keep documents, right?" Immediately, one of them replied, "No, we throw away all the documents we are allowed to so we can find what we need among the remaining ones." This response got a good laugh from everyone in the room.   But imagine if you could discard all the unnecessary documents in your organization. This could be up to 50% of the existing documents. Today, there are smart technology features available to detect these kinds of documents. This is a typical activity we undertake early in our projects with customers. You can also configure your document management to remove unnecessary documents automatically to not repeat the behavior.

I keep telling you all a shift is coming. You don't want to hear it from me, that's OK. As long as you listen to someone else and fully understand what's inevitable. So the question is, will you be ready? Or are you going to be like the 97% who will wait until it's too late to transition seamlessly? As AI starts to dominate you are going to lose your direct connection to your fanbases. I am trying to prevent that by bringing you Club Fandumb next year. Do I care if you guys want this new dtc social media platform? Heck no! I'll save tens of thousands of dollars if you don't. I'm not going to keep trying to convince anyone that this or that is a good idea. You will need to figure that out on your own. Every 10 to 20 years or so the world shifts. I watched models lose their entire livelihood in the early 2000s because they refused to acknowledge the internet was coming to slay the DVD. And again in 2020 when many people in an entire Industry went under because 2 years before when I tried moving them to an online platform so they could stay home and still make money, I was called "Stupid" to my face and that no one would need that. Insert pandemic. You know who had no problems either time? Me. Im going to be OK regardless and so will every one of my brands. My time, intellect and resources will be put to good use whether anyone sees what's coming and the value of my solution or not. I'm just someone who tends to see a need beforehand and tries to fill it. Enjoy your Sunday 🙂

I continue to be fascinated by the complex interplay between artificial intelligence, law, and ethics. Recently, Scarlett Johansson's allegations against OpenAI regarding the new AI voice "Sky," which allegedly mimics her iconic voice from the film "Her," have stirred significant legal and ethical discussions. This case raises crucial questions about the extent to which data protection rights apply to the sound of someone’s voice. Under GDPR, personal data encompasses any piece of information that can identify a person, directly or indirectly. If AI can replicate someone’s voice accurately, it's arguable that this falls under personal data, thereby invoking data protection rights. Amid these intricate legal issues, there's a silver lining. Yesterday, the Council of the EU adopted the AI Act, a monumental step towards a robust legal framework for artificial intelligence. With the AI Act’s imminent enforcement, we are witnessing unprecedented global efforts to regulate AI, ensuring its safe and ethical use. The AI Act not only addresses broad issues but specifically targets deepfakes, mandating AI systems to inform users when they’re interacting with AI. I ran every day for 100 days and did 500 km. Below my story from hate to love running. And how it transformed my life (and work). Five months ago, running was my enemy. I found it to be too time-consuming and just boring. But after reading about its science-backed benefits, I decided to challenge myself. FROM HATE TO LOVE❤️: My 3 simple steps. 1. 😄 Make it Fun:  Listen to your favourite music or podcasts, wear comfy gear you love, and choose scenic routes or run at sunrise/sunset. 2. 🎮 Make it a Game: I set a goal to run 21 days straight (became 100 days eventually) and celebrated every 100 km milestone. 3. 🔄 Consistency is Key:  When you're feeling lazy or the weather sucks, do 1km in a slow pace. The positive impact was incredible: - Increased energy - Improved sleep - Enhanced focus and self-discipline - Reduced stress - Overall better mood - Hours of educational materials listened That's my story.
