  • Do Democracy

    Organizer of ‘Do Democracy Games’ in Copenhagen as part of the celebration of women’s 100 years of vote. Organized a tournament at the Danish parliament in collaboration with the City of Copenhagen, the Danish government, and the Danish FA.

  • Girls' Vote (Pigernes Stemme)

    Organized the ‘girls vote’ project - in collaboration with the Danish FA and Copenhagen University - a project of 100 girls aged 13-16 and 10 young adult role models, who where set out to create a the new story about how girls’ and women’s soccer can gain a healthy lifestyle from soccer at a young age.

  • Global Goals World Cup

    Co-founded the Global Goals World Cup, which is an open women’s amateur soccer tournament designed to expand the scope of a conventional sport event. We draw on the perspectives of designers, architects, academics, and activists, to merge true global citizenship with soccer - and hence, to mobilize women globally to take the UN sustainable development goals agenda into their own hands through activism. Global Goals World Cup is organised in partnership with UN / UNDP.

  • Play Like a Girl

    Establish the ‘Play Like a Girl’ event covering a street soccer tournament and a national clinic in collaboration with the ‘Women Deliver’ conference of Copenhagen 2016. The aim is to harness the engaging power of soccer and highlight girls’ right to play, live healthy lives and speak up in society.

Founder and organizer of the world’s first soccer training and tournament for refugees in cooperation with asylum seekers in Denmark. Collaborated with the Danish Red Cross asylum centers, hummel, and others to activate, train and teach women refugees about sports, health and the joy of community. Over 100 refugees placed all over the country were engaged in the activities, which included tournaments, street games and local play-offs.

Each year the tournament engaged around 600-1,000 female amateur soccer players in teams of seven – and an even larger crowd / audience. An IOC jury composed of members of the IOC Women in Sport Commission then reviews the nominations and chooses six winners – a World Trophy and five Continental Trophy winners – who are supported with a grant to help them continue and extend their work.

    The awardees’ work has made a huge difference for women and girls involved in sport on local, national and global levels. It has helped develop, encourage and strengthen the participation of women and girls in sport not only as atheletes, but also as coaches, administrators, leaders and as members of the media.

    Our first women's street football tournament in Copenhagen 2004 in Collaboration with fashion magazine EUROWOMAN - won "Best event" by UEFA - magical to give all our 64 all womens teams that certification.
