Onboarding new hires during this season might therefore be a little tricky, with key personnel and future team members on holiday. Luckily, there are several things you can do to make your new employees feel welcome despite an emptier office and potentially fewer tasks. After successfully completing his Master's degree at CBS, Mick attended Stanford University studying machine learning, as well as University of California, Berkeley, developing his own app, Wisdm. A couple of weeks back, our superstar colleagues from Finland, Sweden, and Norway organized an event called The Hunt 🎯—the biggest event in the Nordics for HR people, gathering together over 3000 professionals from the field. The day included networking, inspirational talks, and plenty of the latest recruitment and HR trends. Let’s hear from our colleague Miia about how the day went from an organizer's perspective 🙌 ------------- Fᴀɴᴛᴀsᴛɪᴄ ᴇᴠᴇɴᴛ ʏᴇsᴛᴇʀᴅᴀʏ! Wʜᴀᴛ ᴡᴇʀᴇ sᴏᴍᴇ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜʟɪɢʜᴛs ғᴏʀ ʏᴏᴜ? Teamwork, for sure. Holding an event like this can be pretty stressful, but we didn’t forget to laugh and have fun together while organizing it. It was also extremely heartwarming to see people having a good time at the event and networking with each other. The collaboration went well, and we really managed to pull off 👉 the biggest HR event in the Nordics 👈 together. The results were outstanding, customers were very happy, and after all, I think that for example, the risk of having an interactive stream between our events really paid off. All the positive impact the event caused wouldn’t have been possible without putting our brains together with the Nordic team. Hᴏᴡ ᴅᴏ ʏᴏᴜ sᴇᴇ Tʜᴇ Hᴜɴᴛ ᴍᴏᴠɪɴɢ ғᴏʀᴡᴀʀᴅ? I have to say that we’ve now set the bar high for the upcoming events.
